Norwegian Cruise Line has rolled out a new policy for its specialty restaurants. Reservations are still held for 15 minutes past the booking time before being released.

The rule covers popular spots like Cagney’s Steakhouse, Le Bistro, Los Lobos, Ocean Blue, Teppanyaki, and Onda by Scarpetta. The idea is to cut down on no-shows that tie up reservations and leave tables sitting empty while other guests are turned away.

This update is already showing up in the Freestyle Daily newsletter and in the dining policy on NCL’s website. For cruisers, it’s another reminder to keep an eye on your plans or cancel early if something changes.
